G62t has a 15.6-inch LED backlight screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and is equipped with Intel Core i3-330M, i3-350M, i5-520M, i5-540M or i7-620M. However, HP laptops will only be equipped with the Intel onboard graphics chip included, not a product from Nvidia or ATI. In addition, G62t will have 4GB of DDR3 memory, a 500GB hard drive and DVD or Blu-ray reader / write drive.
HP's new model has standard Wi-Fi, LAN, Bluetooth, 3 USB ports, HDMI (appears as an option on some models), memory card reader and webcam.
G62t has a dull silver surface, weighing 2.5 kg, comes pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium operating system and is sold at a starting price of 599 USD (configuration options on HP website).
