Samsung introduced Series 2, 4 and 6 laptops
All three of the company's new laptops are introduced with ultra-durable casing, metal hinges and rich configurations for many price segments.
The first is the Series 2 with 12.5 and 14 inch screen models. This model is not provided by Samsung, but according to Engadget , these models are cheap to the affordable segment. The 12.5-inch model will come with an Intel Celeron processor, while the 14-inch model uses an Intel Core i3 Sandy Bridge processor. Both have 4GB of RAM, 320GB hard drive.




Next is Series 4 with 12.5-inch and 14-inch screens similar to Series 2. However, these models own Sandy Bridge chip with full options Core i3, i5 and i7 with hard drive with speed read 7,200 rpm and 6 cell battery.
Finally and most advanced is the Series 6 with two sizes of 14 inches and 15.6 inches. Both have SuperBright screen with 300-nit brightness and optionally resolution up to 1,600 x 900 pixels along with the usual level of 1,366 x 768 pixels. Series 6 is also available with Intel Sandy Bridge Core i3, i5 and i7 options and graphics power comes from Nvidia NVS 4200M card.

All of the three-line models have an exterior that Samsung introduced as "super hard", metal hinges and a 1.3 Megapixel webcam with the latest standard USB port 3.0.
In addition, Samsung's 2.4,6 Series models feature a joystick and up to four mouse buttons like ThinkPad models aimed at business users.
There is no price information but Series 2 and 4 will be sold in April, Series 6 will be available later than a month later.
