Step 1: Determine the hard drive bay to be mounted

Typically, the hard drive bay is mounted perpendicular to the bottom of the case, and the internal hard drive is usually placed parallel to the bottom of the case. Be sure to find the appropriate space, fit the size so you can attach a new hard drive. Avoid situations that are too wide, or too tight for the size of the hard drive.

Step 2: Attach the hard drive to the compartment

Position the hard drive into the cavity with 4 screws on either side or bottom of the drive. Attention should be paid to not tighten the hand. In many cases with computer population, the case usually uses a non-screw slide tray, but it is possible to use clamps to ensure robustness.

Step 3: Connect the hard drive to SATA port

First attach a SATA cable end to the hard drive, and the other end connects to an available SATA port on the motherboard. During the mounting process, we can use metal hooks to hold it firmly.
