Minecraft Bronze Torch Making Tutorial

Minecraft 1.21.9 update – The Copper Age has brought a very interesting new item. That is the Copper Torch. This is an upgraded version of the normal torch, with a very distinctive green flame . In addition to providing light, copper torch also helps:

 

1. Prevent monsters from spawning in the torch area.
2. Generate heat to melt snow and ice.
3. Crafting Copper Lantern.

Another special feature is that with copper blocks, copper torches do not oxidize, so their color and light will always remain the same.

Ingredients needed

To craft a Bronze Torch , you need three basic ingredients, which are easy to find in the Minecraft world:

Ingredient	How to earn
1 Copper Nugget	Smelt from copper ingots (1 ingot = 9 nuggets) or melt down broken copper tools.
1 Coal or Charcoal	Dig coal ore to get coal, or burn wood in a furnace to make charcoal.
1 Stick	Made from any 2 wooden planks.

Of course you will also need a Crafting Table to combine recipes.

 

Steps to make Bronze Torch

Follow these steps:

1. Step 1: Open the crafting table (right click on Crafting Table).

2. Step 2: Place the ingredients in the 3x3 grid in the correct order:

   1. Middle cell of the top row: Copper Piece .

   2. Middle row middle box: Coal or Charcoal .

   3. Bottom row middle box: Stick .

3. Step 3: When the recipe is correct, you will get 4 Bronze Torches .

4. Step 4: Drag them into your inventory to use.

Uses of Copper Torch

1. Light & heat source

1. Provides brightness level 14, similar to a regular torch.
2. Prevents hostile mobs (zombies, skeletons, creepers,…) from spawning in light range.
3. Can melt snow within 2 blocks and ice within 3 blocks.

2. Crafting Bronze Lanterns

1. Recipe: 8 Copper Pieces + 1 Copper Torch.
2. Bronze lantern has brightness of 15 (brighter than torch).
3. Can be hung from the ceiling or placed on a block.

3. Stability

1. Non-oxidizing (no discoloration over time).
2. Keep the unique green flame.

The green light that the Bronze Torch gives off may seem a bit spooky or creepy to some, but it is still a beautiful and useful item in Minecraft. With just a few easy-to-find materials, you can have a new type of torch that will brighten up your base, keep it safe, and look extremely cool.
