If you don't want to permanently delete your Kik account, you can use the less advanced option and deactivate it.

Kik does not allow you to deactivate or delete your account via the mobile application. You need to do this through the website (you can access the website on your phone or use the computer, depending on your preference).

This explains that deactivating your profile will result in the following:

1. You will no longer receive any Kik messages or emails about your account.

When you delete the Kik profile:

1. Your profile is no longer accessible and you can never recover it.
2. You will not receive any Kik messages or emails from the group.
3. No one can search your username on Kik.
4. After a short time, your profile will be deleted for the people you have talked to.
