The Google Pixel 9 series has been making waves on the Internet for a while now, with a series of leaked hands-on photos revealing the design. Now, the tech giant has officially broken its silence and revealed the dates for this year's Made By Google event.

Google revealed the launch event details on its official store page with a short introductory video. The video confirms the launch date of August 13, 2024, in Roman numerals along with a silhouette of the Pixel 9 and the new circular camera bar.

When you click on the 'Learn More' button, you will be redirected to the event page. The keynote will start at 10am PT (10:30am IST) on August 13.

Immediately afterwards, a number of technology media companies went online to share invitations to this event. The invites shed more light on what we can expect from the upcoming big event.

The invitation has the following content:

'You're invited to a live Made By Google event where we'll showcase the best of Google AI, Android software and the Pixel device portfolio.'

Although Google has not specifically talked about livestream, as usual, there will probably be one. Now, the event is happening about 2 months earlier (it usually takes place in October or September, close to the iPhone launch event).

According to what the invitation content says, at this point, we can be quite sure about the official launch of the Pixel 9 series at this event. The back design seems to match the design renders and leaked images of the Pixel 9.

Additionally, Android 15 is finally available to the public. It doesn't end there and we could also see the Gemini getting some new powers, along with the Pixel Fold 2 and Pixel Watch 3.

According to leaks and reports, the Pixel 9 series will most likely include 3 devices – regular Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 XL. The XL version will likely expand the Pixel Watch line this year.

The fact that Google is speeding things up this year could mean that they are getting ready to give tough competition to Apple Intelligence. Whatever it is, this event is worth looking forward to!
