Google extends retail Chromebooks worldwide

Google has expanded its retailing of laptops running Chrome OS, or Chromebook, to more than 6600 stores worldwide.

According to Chromebook Marketing Manager, David Shapiro, said the number of Chromebook product stores was three times more than before.

Reportedly, Amazon and Best Buy have started offering Chromebooks to the US market since June 2012. And starting this June 17, more than 2800 Walmart outlets start selling Google products, becoming Google's most important retail partner for Chromebooks.
