Dell released the XPS 13 Full-HD version
Dell has just released a version that supports the XPS 13 Full HD screen, upgrading from the original version with 720p HD screen, which the company believes will compete well with Apple's MacBook Air.
The Ultrabook Dell XPS 13 offers a 1920 x 1080 pixel Full HD resolution screen with a 13-inch display size that provides almost double the number of pixels compared to a typical HD 720p screen.
The introduced XPS 13 1080p images allow users to see more content in a display size. Specifically, the number of pixels within the display allows users to see more of the standard application content such as Excel from Office 2013. Dell also added that the XPS 13 provides a high range of colors. 72% more than the standard control panel is 45%.
The viewing angle of the product is also raised to 178 degrees from 80 degrees on the standard screen, meaning users can enjoy the content displayed on the XPS 13 wider and fuller. The display also raises the brightness to 350 nit, 75% higher than the previous 200 nit display.
In the press release notes, Dell thinks that the XPS 13 Full HD gives better results than the MacBook Pro 13, but in terms of size and weight, the product is more realistic than the MacBook Air 13. The XPS 13 is smaller than the MacBook Air 13 because it has the same 13-inch display size.
According to Dell, the XPS 13 Full HD is expected to be released to the market next spring. The details of the configuration have not been disclosed by Dell, only knowing that the Ubuntu OS version will cost $ 1,449.
