Dell computers feature wireless charging technology on laptops
Dell became the first targeted laptop manufacturer to provide wireless charging capabilities for its products after the company joined the A4WP group.
A4WP ( Alliance for Wireless Power ) is one of the major organizations that develop large wireless charging standards with more than 80 large companies subscribing to the organization list, including names like HTC, LG or Samsung.
Before Dell , Intel announced last year its plan to participate in the development of wireless charging technology, so a Dell wireless charging notebook was just a matter of time.
One point worth noting is that the wireless charging technology that Dell is aiming for does not require a support dock, which will help users avoid having to be more troublesome during use.
A4WP uses the Rezence wireless charging specification , which allows charging for devices that require charging in the range of 20-50 watts, the average range that laptops need. It is expected that Rezence wireless charging devices will appear on the market this year.
