Oppo will launch the 40W AirVOOC wireless charger and the Reno Ace 2 next week
On Monday, April 13, Oppo will hold an event to launch the Oppo Reno Ace 2, its next flagship model. The device will be powered by the most powerful Snapdragon 865 chipset at the moment, with dual-mode 5G connectivity and 65W fast charging. In addition, the phone will be equipped with 40W wireless fast charging technology and Oppo will simultaneously launch the AirVOOC wireless charging dock with a capacity of up to 40W. This charging dock information has been officially confirmed by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC).
In terms of design, the AirVOOC 40W wireless charging dock will be oval and white combined with gray to create a fairly modern overall. The top of this device is divided into 2 separate parts, the right gray part to place the device and the left part is designed like a large silver turbine. The bottom has a lot of vents to help the heat sink and charger specifications.
According to information from WPC, the new wireless charger has the full name is Oppo 40W AirVOOC and model number OAWV01. This charger will support 9V-2A (18W), 5V-6A (30W) and 10V-6.5A (65W) power levels. However, the maximum wireless charging capacity is 40W.
