Redfall's gameplay

Redfall is somewhat similar to Left 4 Dead if Left 4 Dead lost all Zombies and replaced with vampires. During the Xbox & Bethesda game launch, players finally got to see how the game will play out and it looks very familiar compared to Valve's popular co-op shooter.

Arkane Studios' multiplayer shooter features characters crawling through dark abandoned buildings, shining their flashlights through lurking ghouls. In Redfall's battle, it's not as fast-paced as Left 4 Dead.

There is a clip in the trailer that shows a group of players ambushing on rooftops overlooking the street. That could suggest that there will be battles that can take place on a much larger scale than the zombie shooter. You've probably also seen characters with special abilities like using a magical shield and a stake that temporarily freezes vampires in place.
