Chinese Alphabet and Standard Pronunciation

Chinese pronunciation is divided into 2 different types including Standard Chinese (Beijing) and local Chinese (Cantonese, Shanghai, Mandarin.).

Er is a separate syllable, especially this vowel cannot be matched with any vowel or consonant.

Er is equivalent to the word 'ai' in Vietnamese. When pronouncing the "er" vowel, you play the vowel 'e' first, then the tongue gradually bends up.
