Bottle feeding increases the risk of ear infections in children

A new study shows that babies fed with bottles have a higher risk of ear infections than babies who are directly breastfed.

Scientifically proven, breastfeeding is an extremely good eating habit. Breastmilk is safe, less infectious, and provides adequate nutrition for the immune system of the baby's growth. According to a survey of 491 mothers, ¾ of people gave their babies milk with an artificial bottle, separated and restricted breast-feeding during the first 12 months after the baby was born.

By analyzing empirical survey results through the Health Science Standards, the results showed that babies who were breastfed by their mothers in the first 6 months had a risk of ear infections of only 4%.

In particular, children who are regularly given milk by mothers with bottles are at risk of ear infections up to 14%.

Newly born babies, ear membranes, extremely thin and vulnerable ear systems, drinking milk with jars will create seizures, slight negative pressure in the young ear while drinking, Sarah Keim, The lead author of the study at the Research Institute at Columbus's International Children's Hospital said in a statement.

For a long time, these mild, low-pressure seizures will have an impact, hurting the middle ear of the child and will cause an ear infection in the long term.
