Asus upgraded the Transformer line

The Transformer Pad has a screen resolution of up to 2,560x1,600 pixels while the Transformer Book model is more powerful with Intel Haswell chips.

Transformer Pad TF701T.

Unlike other models of the Transformer Pad, the new TF701T has an additional removable keyboard, which is a second battery that allows for up to 17 hours of continuous operation. The keyboard set alone adds the latest USB 3.0 standard port.

The most valuable upgrade on this product is IPS panel screen of 10.1 inch resolution up to 2,560x1,600 pixels and Nvidia Tegra processor 4. It has 2 GB RAM, internal memory capacity 32 and 64 GB, microSD card slot, HDMI port and headphone jack.

The rear camera has a 5 megapixel resolution with zero shutter lag and supports HDR photography while the front is 1.2 megapixels. The battery that comes with the 31 Whr device while in the dock is 16 Whr. It also supports Miracast wireless image transmission technology.

Transformer Pad TF701T has a thickness of 0.88 cm and weighs 0.589 kg.

Transformer Book T300.

The other version is the Transformer Book T300 with a 13.3-inch screen running Windows 8 and also has a removable keyboard. Upgraded with Intel Haswell 4th generation processor with options Core i3, i5 and i7 with Intel HD Graphics 5000 graphics chip. T300 allows internal memory options of 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB. RAM is raised from 4 GB to 8 GB.

Other specifications include a 13.3-inch screen with Full HD resolution of 1,920x1,080 pixels IPS panel. The T300 has a USB 3.0 port, microHDMI port, microSD card slot while the keyboard has an additional microUSB 3.0 port. If you use both the keyboard and tablet, the battery life is 8 hours.

It has a thickness of 1.1 cm and weighs 1.08 kg. while the keyboard dock is 1 cm and 0.81 kg in size respectively.

The selling price of the machine has not been disclosed.
