The Snapdragon 865 Plus is an upgraded version of the Snapdragon 865 chip, which Qualcomm has yet to launch officially.

According to a report in China, ASUS is preparing to launch the 3rd generation of ROG Phone gaming smartphones, around Q3 2020. It is likely that the launch date will also be in July, just like ROG. Phone II last year. However, due to concerns about the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus, it is also possible that the launch date will be delayed by several months.

ASUS ROG Phone II.

Last year, Qualcomm also launched the Snapdragon 855 Plus.
