Admire the special image of galaxy NGC 3175 taken with the Hubble space telescope
NGC 3175 is a famous spiral galaxy, located about 50 million light-years from the constellation Antlia (the Air Pump), and was first discovered on March 30, 1835 by the English astronomer John Herschel .
Recently, NASA / ESA Hubble Space Telescope has captured the '1 no 2' image, showing the extremely majestic cross section of galaxy NGC 3175 with a great blend of gas arrays. bright, dark dust, bright cores and 'arms' spinning, swirling together . all created a beautiful picture, vividly depicting the wonders and mysteries of the universe.
NGC 3175 is just one galaxy in a spiral group of galaxies called Local Group. Our Milky Way itself - the Milky Way - is also part of the Local Group family, along with about 50 other galaxies, all of which are spiral, dwarf, irregular, and connected galaxies by gravitation. These are mostly the most common galaxies in the universe.
The image above was taken with a Hubble 3 wide-field camera (WFC3). There are already 2 filters used to sample different wavelengths. The great color combination in the image results from assigning different colors to each monochrome image associated with an individual filter. Hubble is considered the largest and most modern telescope ever launched into space to the present time. Hubble is currently operating on Earth's orbit at an altitude of about 610 km, more than 220 km above the working height of the International Space Station. This telescope can rotate around the Earth in 97 minutes, equivalent to 15 times a day and operates by solar energy.
