The Ministry of Information and Communications has issued a circular 'National technical regulation on quality of short message services (SMS) on terrestrial mobile telecommunications networks'.
The Ministry of Information and Communications has issued a circular 'National technical regulation on quality of short message services (SMS) on terrestrial mobile telecommunications networks'.
Accordingly, operators are required to ensure the rate of successful sending of SMS from customers is 92% or more. The time from sending to receiving the average message must be less than 20 seconds.
Norms are the basis for users to monitor the quality of short message services provided by businesses. Enterprises providing SMS services on the ground mobile telecommunication network will be subject to inspection by the state management agency.
