You just graduated from college and are standing in the middle of a ' life fork '. It seems that your career choices are endless.
For years, you have always tried to find the answer to the question: What do you want to do when you grow up, but answers like ' firefighters ' or ' astronauts ' don't seem realistic. or you yourself cannot afford.
Or if yes?
The difference between career expectations at the age of 10 and now is huge because social conditions start to blur the thoughts in your mind.
While some are useful, the majority of social conditions are directing you to the career path full of frustration and discontent.Let us refer to 7 reasons for making mistakes when choosing a career for the future !
1. Status and money
Close your eyes and imagine that you are a lawyer or a banker. Do you find yourself wearing a small striped suit, driving a brand-new BMW car to an office building with your name on the door?
Do you want people to show admiration when you tell them what you are doing? Be honest with yourself.Money can be very important but it is not enough to make you always love and feel satisfied with your work .
2. Recognition
The close relation to status and money is the feeling of being important and recognized , it can easily overshadow your own judgment when choosing a career.
Of course, CEO position - CEO is treated differently than a marketing intern. Even so, it's a mistake to think that a high-ranking position will be forever recognized.
For new graduates, it seems that executives spend the whole day doing casual jobs, attending dining, traveling meetings and making interesting deals. But in reality, the higher the position, the easier it is to face the lack of recognition and criticism.
In the world, companies with flexible adaptations, fast growing and solving real problems are often led by people who have little time to pursue recognition, which they spend very much plenty of time to make difficult decisions and handle the damage that comes from my work.
3. 'Because you do it very well!'
Just because you do something well, doesn't mean it's a wise career choice .
When standing at the starting point of your career, employers don't expect you to have good skills - they care much about your career background " not too wide ".
Employers look for candidates based on educational background first, then new skills . During the interview, they will find out how you are aware of your values and what motivates you to work with them.
They will anticipate that they must teach you the necessary skills during the first few years. In fact, you will have more fun time at work if you feel that you are going through the limits by trying to learn more.

4. Imitate your friends
Your friends have finished college and started working in real estate. They say they can help you get an interview with the company.
What could be better than working with your friends? It will be like going to college a second time, but now you will be paid, right?
Completely wrong. If work doesn't really make sense to you, friends will quickly become whom you always talk about how bad the job is. Some of those friends may have been in leadership positions, which means that if you act like that, you'll lose your friends too.
5. Let parents happy
This is like status and recognition, only that it comes from your parents. Some parents want their children to start their careers, just because they can brag about it at the golf club, for example:
'My little angel is now a neurosurgeon . we feel very proud. "
That's enough.
6. Safety at work
Some professions (such as medicine, lawyers, and managers ) are often considered safer than areas such as photography and graphic design. That may be true in some respects, but the notion of work safety is no longer a valuable concept for you to choose from.
Occupational safety is no longer a right, it is something that must be achieved and maintained in any field. Only by devoting beyond what the task requires, you can be assured not only of safety but also of your own importance.
7. Because you like it
You like coffee. You love coffee and you like to ask questions about the origins of coffee beans, roasting and trying to determine if your morning coffee has more flavor, spices or skin.
Sometimes you get swept away with small obsessions and start thinking that you will one day open a cafe.
However, that thought only lasts until you realize the reality of the job. Do you want to wake up early at 4 am every day to open a shop at 6 o'clock? Would you like to handle broken refrigerators, leaking pipes, food safety regulations, permits, impatient customers and a small team of staff assignments?
You will certainly feel admired by those who do the job and know that it is not for you.
Therefore, when starting a career choice, you should consider the practical aspects of daily work in the future, regardless of how attractive it looks to you.
