YouTube is about to have a new update that will bring a better video viewing experience

YouTube recently announced the addition of many new features on the video streaming platform to improve viewing and search quality.

YouTube's most notable new feature is the new 'Stable Volume' toggle in the mobile app located in Additional Settings and will be enabled by default. The new 'Stable Volume' button will help prevent large volume differences between videos, users will not have to constantly adjust the volume because the video sound is too loud or too soft.

Some other features that YouTube will update include:

1. Lock screens on phones and tablets help avoid accidental touches that can interrupt video, affecting the user experience.
2. Larger thumbnail image: When watching a video, the preview screen will be larger than before.
3. Tap to speed up 2x: Users just need to tap/click and hold the video to quickly and simply increase playback speed by 2x.
4. Use AI to find music: this feature allows users to play a song, sing or hum it and YouTube's AI will find the original. However, this feature will only be available for Android for now and will roll out in the coming weeks.

YouTube will gradually roll out the above new features starting today and over the coming weeks. In particular, these features are available to all users around the world, you do not need to subscribe to YouTube Premium to take advantage of them.
