ThinkCentre M90a All-in-One from Lenovo: A secure and stylish desktop model
Lenovo launched a series of new products at CES 2020. The most prominent is the ThinkCentre M90a All-in-One desktop. Expected to be sold in June 2020 with a starting price of $ 1,099 (VND 25,277,000), a 23.8-inch screen, 10th-generation Intel Core processor, AMD Radeon 625 graphics card with up to 32GB of RAM. , along with 1TB SSD storage.
The screen offers 350 nit of maximum brightness, less than the 500 nit found on the new ThinkPad X1 Yoga and the new ThinkPad X1 Carbon, but is still quite suitable for most home users. However, if you work a lot in Photoshop or video editing software, you may find this is a great tool.
Away from the basic specifications, the ThinkCentre M90a boasts some impressive security features. This desktop has optional support for PrivacyGuard (narrowing the viewing angle of the screen) and users will also get Lenovo's PrivacyAlert technology.
PrivacyAlert will let you know if someone is looking at the screen behind your shoulder and will automatically dim the screen when you turn your back on it. A camera case and fingerprint scanner are also included. In the demo, the screen's auto-dimming capability was particularly impressive.
PrivacyGuard is also great. There are 3 settings you can switch, each providing narrower viewing angles and therefore, more privacy than before.
If you're a privacy-focused person, you don't need to worry about having your webcam turned on at all times. PrivacyGuard relies on a separate infrared camera to detect head movements and prying eyes.
Lenovo representatives also want to draw attention to details on the back of the machine. All ports are hidden under a portion of the cover and the cables are passed through the display support bracket.
Other notable features include WiFi 6 support, USB-A port, USB-C connector, 3-in-1 card reader, optional serial port and DisplayPort output.
