The reason Elon Musk plans to move headquarters X, SpaceX to Texas
Elon Musk shared on
The law, which Elon Musk prevents schools from requiring teachers to notify parents if their children want to identify as "another gender", was signed by Governor Gavin Newsom on July 15.
Billionaire Musk declared: 'This is the final straw. Because like many other laws before it, this law attacks families and companies. SpaceX will now move its headquarters from Hawthorne (California) to Starbase (Texas).'
"I told Governor Newsom a year ago that laws like that would force families and companies to leave California to protect their children," Musk said in a follow-up post.
Musk has a transgender child, Xavier Alexander Musk. After announcing he severed his father-son relationship with the American billionaire, he changed his name to Vivian Jenna Wilson. And he blamed California's private school education system for turning his daughter against him.
Not only SpaceX, Mr. Musk also said he is moving the X headquarters from San Francisco to Austin (Texas). However, he did not mention whether he would keep the facility in California or stop all activities here.
