Apple Store app updated with new design, Go Further tab, etc.
Yesterday, Apple rolled out a major update to the Apple Store app for iPhone and iPad. The new version of the app focuses on a 'fresh, more curated experience' for finding new products to buy and managing existing products.
After the update, you will see a redesigned navigation bar at the bottom with For You, Products, Go Further, Search and Bag. For example, the Go Further tab is intended to display information about products you already own and how to use them.
The updated Apple Store app also puts an emphasis on Today at Apple, adding a selection of videos you can watch right in the app. Many interface tweaks, new icons, etc. are also present in the application.
Here are the full release notes for the update from Apple:
- The new, more curated experience makes it easier for you to quickly find the most relevant content on the For You tab, buy the newest products on the Products tab, and get the most out of the devices you already own on the For You tab. Go Further tab.
- Check out a new video series from Today at Apple with featured guests that will inspire you to do more with your devices.
- New options to customize privacy settings and options for advanced control over how Apple uses the data you share.
