Both animals try to increase their body size to scare the opponent. The iguana used its strong tail to hit the cobra, making the opponent stunned. Because the skin of the monitor lizard is hard and thick, the king cobra's fangs cannot pump venom through it.

In the end, the direct confrontation between the king cobra and the iguana ended with the victory going to the iguana. The king cobra has become the "meal" of the opponent. The iguana is a fairly large reptile that looks like a gecko (lizard) but is larger and longer. Adults can be up to 2.5 - 3 m long, weighing about 10 kg. The whole body is covered with a layer of scales.
