In order to achieve the above record, the Elitebook 6930p requires HP's Ultra Capacity battery, Intel SSD 80 GB solid-state drive, which saves 7% of power, a 14.1-inch widescreen with lamp. Illumi-Lite LED background (which contributes to an extra 4 hours of system operation) and Windows XP operating system. Users also need to download the latest Intel and HP BIOS graphics drivers.
"The battery that runs without charge all day is always considered a 'holy grail' in mobile computing, " said Ted Clark, vice president of HP's notebook business.
The EliteBook 6930p weighs 2.1 kg and is also equipped with shockproof technology and high heat resistance. The product will be available in October but the price has not been announced.
