The gene we want to talk about is called XRN1 , which is a special gene found in Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

The new discovery shows that the XRN1 gene is a specific protein gene capable of helping cells clean up RNA in old, aging, diseased cell molecules.

Not only that, this gene also has the ability to lay down the defense protein gene against viruses that enter the host, specifically the human body through the mechanism of breaking the RNA attack in the virus.
