Everyday Robots has more than 200 employees. With the decision to close as part of Google's cost-cutting plan, Everyday Robots will no longer be a separate project within Alphabet. A former employee of Everyday Robots said that the project's shutdown is a pity because robots can do meaningful things and with the right investment, the company can create meaningful products in the market in the next 5 years. .
