COVID-19 Portable full body disinfection chamber appears in Hanoi
According to information from the Institute of Occupational Health and Environment (Ministry of Health), to prevent and combat COVID-19, the Institute collaborated with Hanoi University of Technology to design and manufacture a successful reduction chamber. Systemic bacteria use ionic salt water.
Currently, the Institute has installed and deployed a mobile disinfection chamber system in medical examination and crowded areas to ensure safety and limit the spread of dangerous pathogens, especially in the situation of COVID-19 epidemic. complicated.
It is known that it only takes 15 - 20 seconds to 'clean' a person's body before entering the clinic area. In addition, the system is designed as a module so it can be easily removable and transported. A complete installation system can meet the capacity of disinfection up to 1,000 people / day.
As noted by PV, these two mobile body disinfection chambers are now being installed and tested by the Institute of Agriculture and Rural Environment at the institute's entrance.
It only takes 15-20 seconds to "clean" the whole body.
According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Hai - Director of VAST, the system is designed based on the principle of using an ionized saline solution (Anolyte) in the form of mist spraying the whole body to quickly disinfect the body surface. All disinfectant solutions are prepared by the VAST and ensure safety for sensitive skin areas.
There are instructions on the disinfection chamber along with recommendations for prevention of Covid-19.
In terms of initial results, the Department of Laboratory and Analysis (Institute of Occupational Health and Environment) conducted a microbiological test on humans. The results showed that over 90% of bacteria, viruses on the body surface, clothes . were completely removed after going through the body disinfection chamber.
A complete installation system can meet the capacity of disinfection up to 1,000 people / day.
It is known that the idea began to deploy from February 2020.
In parallel with that, the Institute also designed a clothes drying sterilization chamber to kill bacteria on clothes of doctors.
Engineers are also in the process of making new products to supply hot facilities like the Central Tropical Hospital or the quarantine areas.
The whole-body disinfection chamber will partly address the need for screening and prevention of infection in crowded areas, especially at medical examination and treatment establishments, enterprises, schools and commercial centers. ., contributing to the prevention of disease spread.
