Minecraft: Top 3 most rare and difficult fish to find

Snow fish

Cod is one of the most popular mobs in Minecraft. However, gamers can sometimes have difficulty finding this animal due to the nature of their breeding area. Accordingly, cod spawns only in the following ocean biomes:

- Cold ocean

- Deep cold ocean

- Lukewarm Ocean

- Deep Lukewarm Ocean

- Ocean

- Deep ocean

Unlike salmon, which spawn in both oceans and rivers, cod can only be found in the oceans. So, unless you are spawned near the oceans, catching cod in the early stages of the game is an extremely difficult challenge.

Puffer fish

Puffer fish spawn only in a limited number of biomes. Specifically, you can only find puffer fish in the following biomes:

- Lukewarm Ocean

- Deep Lukewarm Ocean

- Warm ocean

Pufferfish are the only mobs that are used directly as ingredients for potions in Minecraft. Unlike other fish, puffer fish can damage anyone who gets too close to them.

Tropical fish

Tropical fish are some of the most beautiful fish in Minecraft. The reason is because of their diversity and abundance. Because of the different colors, sizes, patterns and types of fins, there are many varieties of tropical fish.

Despite the fact that there are as many as 2700 unique species of tropical fish, they are rarely found because of their breeding properties in select waters. They spawn only in the following biomes:

- Lukewarm Ocean 

- Deep Lukewarm Ocean

- Warm ocean

- Lush cave
