Minecraft 1.18: Top 4 uses of fire
Fire is one of the most basic elements of Minecraft and has many uses depending on the purpose of the gamer.
Heater
A fireplace can become a great decoration in many different settings, be it a gamer's library, a spell room or even the entrance to the Nether portal.
The Minecraft community has come up with countless unique designs for fireplaces and integrated them into various constructions. They take very little material to craft and can be as simple or complex as you like.
Cooking
Raw food when placed on a campfire or soul fire will ripen over time and produce great products that gamers can use. This cooking method does not require fuels such as coal, wood or lava.
Fight
In general, most of the hostile mobs found in Minecraft do not like fire or sunlight. And with spells like Fire Aspect, players can instantly set enemies on fire or increase their kill rate.
This can be used to the player's advantage in battle, especially on high difficulty levels where undead mobs prove a lot more challenging.
Clearance
Carrying flint and steel into the woods is a great way to clear space for future construction projects. While cutting trees with punches or axes usually takes a lot of time, using fire to clear ground in large forests is extremely quick.
