Just like a series of recent rumors, Apple announced the new generation of MacBook Air at the WWDC 2013 conference . However, the exterior design remains the same as the first release of a completely new version in 2010 with two options. choose 11.6 and 13.3 inch screens . The biggest change is that Intel Haswell processor platform promises to significantly improve battery life and increase integrated graphics chip performance.

Thanks to new hardware, Apple promises a 12-hour battery for 13-inch machines and 9 hours for an 11-inch version. This upgrade is significant compared to the corresponding 7 hours and 5 hours of last year's versions. Particularly, Intel HD Graphics 5000 integrated graphics chip is also said to bring 40% more graphics performance. However, the company will not use integrated chips with high performance Iris but power consumption with Intel Haswell platform.

The new MacBook Air also has other changes, including standard 802.11ac Wi-Fi connectivity and flash storage drives, up to 45% faster than the previous generation . Unfortunately, Apple did not mention upgrading the screen resolution to the Retina standard.
