Consumer laptop prices are lowering and continue to increase PC sales worldwide
Total value of revenue from PC in 2008 is expected to increase 7.4%, reaching nearly 280 billion USD. From 2009 to 2012, revenue will increase by 4% annually, reaching nearly 330 billion USD. Laptops are still the main driving force to boost PC sales in all regions.
Bob O'Donnell, deputy director of IDC's customer, said that consumer laptop prices are lowering and continue to bring PC sales worldwide up.
