Instructions for creating a YouTube account cover photo

Step 1:

First, visit your personal Youtube account. At the main interface on Youtube, we will click on My Channel section (My Channel) in the list on the left of the interface.

Step 2:

After that, we will switch to individual Youtue interface. Since we have not set the cover image on Youtube, so you will click on the green button Add the artwork for the channel (Add channel art).

Step 3:

The interface of the Channel art dialog box appears. Here you will have options to create a cover image for Youtube including:

1. Upload photos (Upload photos): download photos available in your computer.
2. Your photos (Your photos): all photos have been uploaded to your Google account.
3. Library (Gallery): use images in photo galleries on Youtube.

Here, I will select the image available in the computer so I will click Upload image. We click on Choose photo from your computer or drag the image into the frame to upload photos on Youtube.

Note to the user , the uploaded image is a YouTube cover image of size 2560 x 1440. The maximum size of the photo is 4 MB. If the uploaded image does not have enough upper limit, it is too small for Youtube to show up for you to proceed. At that time, we will receive an error message as shown below.

Step 4:

Then the folder interface appears on the computer. You find the image you want to set as cover on Youtube and click Open .

Step 5:

Images after being uploaded will display preview cover images on YouTube accounts in 3 different devices, including computers (Desktop), TV (TV) and mobile phones (Mobile). If you want to manually adjust the cover image, click the Adjust the crop button below.

In this image frame, you can adjust the position of the cut frame to get a nice photo of YouTube cover. Then press Select (Select) to save this cropping frame. So we have completed the new cover for our personal YouTube channel.

Step 6:

In case you want to replace the new cover photo on Youtube, in the cover image click on the pen icon and select Edit channel art.
