HP's first Ultrabook in Vietnam
The Folio 13 is HP's thinnest laptop in Vietnam with a luxurious metal shell design, weighing only 1.5 kg and costing about VND 27 million.
Impressive about the Folio 13 is a slim, beautiful and rugged design thanks to its anti-fingerprint alloy shell. Products using Intel Core i5 speed 1.6 GHz, 4 GB RAM and 128 GB SSD drive.
Unlike other ultrabooks (Asus, Acer), the Folio 13 has a plastic underside instead of metal, which reduces the elegance of the product. However, this feature also makes the handset quieter and creates a stylish HP ultrabook that doesn't resemble the Apple MacBook Air.
The Folio 13 has the slimmest of all HP laptops, but is much thicker than other competitors from Toshiba, Acer or Asus.
BrightView 13.3-inch LED screen for brilliant images but easy to be blurred by light. The viewing angle of the screen is not wide when the color changes gradually when looking sideways.
The keyboard is smooth and bouncing and the TouchPad is designed quite similar to Apple's MacBook Pro. The feeling of pressing the left and right buttons on the TouchPad is quite heavy.
Dolby Advanced Audio system for loud and clear sound but primarily in treble and slightly lacking in bass.
Users can control the light for the keyboard, a convenient feature when working in dark environments.
The 6-cell battery on the Folio 13 allows for continuous web surfing for between 6 and 7 hours, a little less than HP advertising for 9 hours. Products will be sold in Vietnam for VND 27 million (VAT included).
