With dv6t, in addition to the familiar 15.6-inch screen, the new version will have 2.4 GHz Core i5-520M chip, free upgrade option to 3GB RAM and 320 GB hard drive capacity. Users also have the option of NVIDIA GeForce GT 320M graphics card with 1GB of memory. The service will have a starting price of 929 USD.

In addition, HP also upgraded for DV7T with the basic configuration price of 999 USD. At this price, users will own a 17.3 inch screen laptop with a resolution of 1,600 x 900 pixels, an Intel Core i5-520M 2.4 GHz processor (up to 2.93 GHz with Turbo Boost technology), 250 GB hard drive (7,200 rpm), NVIDIA GeForce G 105M graphics card 512MB.
At the same time, the newly launched TouchSmart TM2 touchscreen laptop at CES was officially sold at a starting price of 950 USD. This model has a 12-inch wide multi-touch screen, low-voltage SU7300 1.3 GHz processor and 3GB DDR3 memory for basic configuration. It also has an option to upgrade users with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4550 discrete graphics card and processor SU9600.
