The Compaq 515 has a 14.1-inch screen, runs on an AMD Athlon X2 processor or the optional Turion X2, an integrated ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics card, 3 GB of RAM, a 250 GB hard drive and an additional reader DVD.
Meanwhile, the Compaq 610 version has a 15.6-inch screen, runs on an Intel Core 2 Duo processor or optionally the Dual-Core Celeron, which has an Intel GMA X3100 integrated graphics card, RAM, and hard drive. Compaq 515 similar capacity besides burn DVD drive.
Both models use LED backlight screens with a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. HP's new laptop uses mono external speakers, adds microphone, Wi-Fi connectivity, Ethernet LAN, 3 USB ports, ExpressCard slot, VGA output. Compaq 515 and 610 all have webcams integrated.
Two new HP laptops run on Windows Vista Business or Vista Home Basic operating systems, priced from 429 (Compaq 515) to $ 499 (Compaq 610).
