Dell's "sharpened" Studio 1555 has a comprehensive "112" layer and has a strong configuration.

The Dell Studio 1555 is quite neat, about 38 mm (1.5 inches) thick and has a body length of 370 x 254 mm respectively. As for the continuous DVD movie test, Studio 1555 worked for 2 hours 54 minutes, longer than the Studio XPS 16 and Lenovo IdeaPad Y650 for nearly 1 hour and 30 minutes compared to the average of the mainstream segment. Users can improve the time even further with the 9-cell battery if paying about $ 50 more.

In terms of software, Studio 1555 is quite new in adding Dell Dock (the idea "learning" feature of Apple Mac OS Dock), including icons of frequently used programs. Users can customize the programs in the catalog and can create new categories as well as change the color and location of the Dell Dock tool. But this feature does not replace the Start menu but will make the desktop more neat when there are no shortcut icons (shortcuts) of the programs used.
