HP out of Android laptops cost more than 9 million
Although announced since June, but now, the HP SlateBook 14, the first laptop running Android officially sold for 430 USD (equivalent to about 9.2 million).
The HP SlateBook 14 is a laptop equipped with a 14-inch touch screen with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, 2 GB RAM and integrated battery that allows the device to operate continuously for 9 hours. It is equipped with NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor and installed Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system instead of Windows.
The HP SlateBook 14 is considered to be the first real laptop in the world running Google's Android mobile operating system. HP SlateBook 14 owns 2 USB 2.0 ports, 1 USB 3.0 port, HDMI port, headphone jack, micro SD card reader, supports 802.11n WiFi connection, Bluetooth and has an internal memory capacity of 16 GB.
The device is allowed to directly access the Google Play Store application store and other Google applications including Google Maps, Google Play Music . Users are also supported by HP's two services, HP Connected Photo and HP Connected Music.
According to information from HP's distribution channels, the HP SlateBook 14 will cost about 430 USD ( equivalent to 9.2 million ).
