How to watch Apple's iPhone 16 'It's Glowtime' event

Since most of us won't be attending the It's Glowtime event in person, here's how you can attend online and watch all the action from home.

September means Apple launches its iPhone lineup along with other products.

Where can I watch Apple's iPhone 16 "It's Glowtime" event?

Apple has sent out invitations to its fall "It's Glowtime" event, scheduled for September 9, 2024, at 10am PT / 1pm EST. As usual, the event will take place at Steve Jobs Theater, Apple Park. Interestingly, this is the first time Apple has launched an iPhone on a Monday.

Like every year, you can watch the "It's Glowtime" event live on Apple's Events page or via the Apple TV app. The event will also be streamed live on Apple's YouTube channel.

What to expect from Apple's "It's Glowtime" event?

Of course, you can expect Apple to announce the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro lineup at its event. Like last year, we expect Apple to release four different iPhone models: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Plus, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Rumors suggest that the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus could switch to a vertically aligned camera system, replacing the current diagonal design. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman expects the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models to have larger screens of 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches, respectively.

All iPhone 16 models are expected to include the Action button introduced with the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. However, the Pro models may get a new dedicated camera button this time. Other expected changes include improved battery life, camera upgrades, and Apple Intelligence support.

Although Apple's September events focus on the iPhone, the company typically releases more products. While we can't be sure what products the company will release in September 2024, there are already rumors of AirPods 4 and a redesigned Apple Watch Series 10. According to Bloomberg, this year's Apple Watch models may include blood pressure monitoring and sleep apnea detection.

We'll have to wait until September 9 to see what Apple has in store. With the expected updates, it seems like the iPhone 16 series is getting a significant refresh, in line with this year's event slogan. If you're eager to try out the new iOS 18 features, including the AI features Apple announced at WWDC 2024, keep an eye out for the event!
