1. Check the screen

First you need to check as follows: Take an external monitor and connect the monitor's cable to the VGA slot on the laptop and then start the computer.

If yours is faulty, and if you don't have a discrete graphics card, then your motherboard is faulty. If the external monitor works fine, then the cause is a faulty display cable or laptop screen.

2. White screen error due to screen cable

To check if the screen cable is faulty, you will need to disassemble your laptop. Make sure you know the mechanics of your computer and can disassemble it, otherwise you can follow the manual that came with the computer.

Once you have found the screen cable, you proceed to remove it and plug it back in. If you remove it and plug it back in, the screen turns on normally, it means that the screen cable is loose.
