How to find lost Android devices using Android Device Manager
If you accidentally let your smartphone get lost somewhere, how will you do it? 2. Locate misplaced Android device location:
Method 1: Use the Android Device Manager web
Step 1.
First, visit the Android Device Manager website according to the link below

Step 2:
Next, you will be logged into the Google account you are using on the lost phone device.
Step 3:
After we log in successfully, we will see the missing device name, along with the device location information on the map.Note to users this way only applies when your device is turned on and connected to WiFi or mobile data.
Step 4:
Here you will see 3 different options.
Ring : the ringing function will cause the audio player to help you find your phone within close range. You will receive a notification that the bell will fall within 5 minutes. When you find the phone, press the power button to turn off the ring.
Lock : when using this feature, the program will ask the user to set a new password and then lock the device. We will fill in the fields:
- New Password: enter a new password for the device.
- Confirm Password: confirm password.
- Recovery message (optional): The recovery message will appear on your lock screen. You can use this option or not.
- Phone number (optional): enter the phone number to appear this number call button on the lock screen. Option to use this item.
In case your lost phone turns off or disconnects from the network, the locking order from the web browser is still valid until the lost device is turned on, or has a network connection.
Erase : delete the data available on the device. With the data on the SD memory card will not be deleted. The command to delete data will remain the same even if the phone is turned back on or reconnected to WiFi.
Method 2: Use the Android Device Manager application
Step 1:
First of all, download the Android Device Manager app to your device using the link below:

After downloading the application to the device we proceed to install. The first interface of the application is to allow Google to use location data to locate the device. We click on Accept .
Next the application will ask you to log in to your Google account.
Step 3:
Next, go back to the main interface on the phone. Next, we will turn on the positioning of the device. You go to Settings and go to Location , then we will activate the location on the device .
Step 4:
In this step, we access Google Settings . Then go to the Security section. In the Security interface, Android Device Management section, we will activate 2 Remote Positioning modes for this device and Allow remote locking and deletion .
Step 5:
After you've completed the setup steps on the phone, we access the Android Device Manager application again.
You will see the appearance of the device that has logged in to the most recent Google account. If you want to find more devices including the phone you want to find, click the arrow icon . In the Android device list, click on the device that we want to locate.
Step 6:
Once you have selected the device you are looking for, click on the Ring item to set the ringing mode. Soon, the application will ask if you want to ring the device. Click Ringing . The bell will fall within 5 minutes with the highest volume. Once you find the phone, press the power button to mute the sound.
