Genshin Impact Upgrades Travel Journal in Version 6.0

Genshin Impact will continue to upgrade the Battle Pass system in version 6.0, allowing players to skip the arduous process of collecting Local Specialty materials to advance their characters.

Although the in-game Holy Stone packs are quite expensive, Journey Diary is still considered a very valuable choice. It provides a large amount of Mora, Sanctifying Essence, and Hero's Wit. What's more, Journey Diary also gives 8 Intertwined Wishes each season.

Changes in the Journey Log in Genshin Impact version 6.0

The Journey Diary in Genshin Impact version 6.0 will have many significant changes compared to version 5.0. Players will not only be able to choose their own reward packages, but can also receive new items such as Dust of Enlightenment and Sanctifying Elixir in the premium package.

The Dust of Enlightenment allows players to regenerate the stats of the Relics, while the Ancient Elixir allows players to craft the Relics at will. However, version 6.0 adds even more value for those who purchase the Gnostic Hymn (which can be translated as 'Elite Oath' or kept as is) for $9.99.

This information comes from the beta of version 6.0, provided by Kuroo, along with a detailed introduction video about the Journey Diary and the new rewards. Specifically, level 3 of the paid Journey Diary package will now allow Genshin Impact players to choose any type of Local Specialty, with the reward package containing 15 selected materials.

Since it takes 48 hours for Local Specialties to respawn, having an extra 15 materials can make a big difference, especially with hard-to-collect ones like Scarabs, Sakura Blooms, and Violetgrass.

The Gnostic Hymn Bundle is often praised for its convenience, providing a large amount of materials and resources. Furthermore, the weapons in the Journey Diary are exclusive, and many of them are truly worth the price. The Serpent Spine and Wolf-Fang are particularly popular, and their effectiveness increases significantly when refined.

In many ways, Song of the Welkin Moon (version 6.0) feels like a gentle "reshaping" of Genshin Impact, as HoYoverse continues to make bolder choices in terms of design and interface.

Whether this philosophy will be extended to gameplay remains to be seen, but the added variety to the Journey Journal will certainly be well received by the Genshin Impact community.
