Gateway to notebook with glowing touchpad
At the Computex show in Taiwan, Gateway is introducing 13.3-inch EC339C notebooks and ID49C08u 14-inch notebooks with a unique feature that glows the touchpad .
These touchpads only emit light (blue) when touched and on which mouse buttons are integrated.
Notebooks use chiclet-style keyboards with a shortcut for using social networks. When you press this key, the device will run an application that can contain Facebook, YouTube and Flick feeds in chronological order.
In terms of hardware, the EC39C is equipped with Intel's Core i5 power-saving chip and NVIDIA's Optimus technology to switch the operating mode between the NVIDIA GeForce 310 graphics processor and Intel's integrated graphics card.
The ID49C08u also has a Core i5 chip, 4GB of RAM, a DVD drive and a 500GB hard drive.
