Galaxy S24 FE will use Exynos 2400 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip depending on the market, Samsung learns from past mistakes
A series of recent leaked information shows that the phone will launch around the fourth quarter of this year, similar to previous Galaxy FE versions. In particular, Samsung will likely use a combination of two versions of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Exynos 2400 processors on this product line depending on each specific market. This is good news because the more expensive Galaxy S23 FE generation is equipped with an Exynos 2200 chip instead of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, making many people feel disappointed.
It seems like Samsung has learned from its mistakes and is now adopting the same chipset strategy that it implemented on the Galaxy S24 series launched a while ago. This is definitely good news for many people looking for a 'Fan Edition' device and expecting a really good chip experience.
Leaked sources suggest that the phone will come with a 6.1-inch AMOLED display, 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 128GB (UFS 3.1) and 256GB (UFS 4.0) storage options. In terms of battery life, the Galaxy S24 FE may have a 4,500mAh battery, slightly larger than the 4,000mAh battery of the Galaxy S24.
There are still not many details about the specifications and appearance design of the Galaxy S24 FE, other than the fact that the phone will come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or Exynos 2400 depending on the market. There is nothing to worry about anymore because both chipsets are equally capable and they will deliver strong performance in all aspects. Strong specifications and affordable prices will definitely be the strengths of this product line.
What's even more interesting is that it's possible that the Galaxy S24 FE could join the Galaxy Z Fold 6 FE and a host of other Fan Edition devices. That shows that Samsung is really serious about its strategy of providing great devices and affordable products. Above all, the Korean manufacturer wants to continue expanding its product portfolio to the point where all types of users can easily choose a product that suits their personal needs.
