Leaked image of Samsung Galaxy S24 FE: Familiar design, thinner bezels

Samsung's FE or Fan Edition series has gained popularity by offering the best features of the flagship Galaxy S smartphone at an affordable price. While the S20 FE and S21 FE achieved great success, the S23 FE received a lackluster response. 

The leak comes from Giznext, who collaborated with @Onleaks to share some device renders. These images give us a better look at the Galaxy S24 FE from multiple angles and what it will look like from the outside. This new green color scheme is also reminiscent of the Mint color of the S23 FE.

The phone will have a design similar to the Galaxy S24 with flat edges on the side, possibly made from aluminum. One important thing to note here is that the bezels look narrower than the previous S23 FE, which received a lot of criticism due to its thick bezels.

According to Giznext, the phone will have a 6.65-inch screen, smaller than the 6.7-inch screen size of the S24 Plus. So the phone will have a big screen but it won't be too big. The panel will be AMOLED like most Samsung smartphones, but the resolution is unknown.

The phone will measure 162 x 77.3 x 8 mm and be 8 mm thick. As you can see, it has a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary lens. However, there is no confirmation about other lenses.

Regarding specifications, the source claims it will have 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. This series of phones will likely run on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or Exynos 2400 in some regions. However, it's possible that Samsung could use the mid-range 8s Gen 3 chipset to save costs.

Hopefully Samsung will balance price and specs better with the S23 FE. The competition is quite stiff, especially from brands like OnePlus and Nothing.

Samsung also needs to change its design because it has become quite boring to look at. This design is used in most of the company's smartphones, leaving no distinguishing factor between flagship, mid-range and budget devices. Hopefully we'll see something new with the S25 series.
