A fossil of a supposedly largest dinosaur ever found in Thailand was discovered in the northeastern part of this country.
According to Niwat Maneekut, the Deputy Director of the City's Department of Natural Resources showed that more than one hundred fossils of this herbivorous dinosaur have been spotted by a villager since last year in Nong Bua Raheo district, in Chaiyaphum province, about 340 km northeast of Bangkok.
The dinosaur is estimated to be about 100 million years old with its supposedly largest size ever found in Thailand, news agency Xinhua quoted Niwat.
The agency is currently conducting research on this herbivorous dinosaur compared to fossils of dinosaurs in other countries.
This newly discovered dinosaur is thought to be related to Titan dinosaurs with long front legs, he added.
