Facebook awards 1 billion VND for those who find new data holes
After the data leak scandal of more than 87 million users, Facebook has been trying to correct mistakes and regain users' trust. Recently, a program called Data Abuse Bounty of Facebook has been implemented. Accordingly, any organization or individual who finds a new data vulnerability will be awarded a prize worth up to $ 40,000.
So what kind of holes will be awarded?
According to information from Facebook, the data vulnerabilities affect more than 10,000 users and are classified as "stealing and taking advantage of data", depending on the level will be paid from $ 500 to $ 40,000.
Unrelated cases such as programming errors, intentionally installing viruses or malicious code . will not be counted.
This is considered a smart move by Facebook, they take advantage of their large user community to find errors, the number of active users of Facebook is huge.
