With the presence of the 'big' brains of contemporary technology, of course, Elon Musk's party has attracted the attention and interest of many people. In it, there are many comments asking about what criteria to meet to become an employee of Tesla, and here is Elon Musk's answer:

Basically, Tesla's CEO does not care about the candidate's qualifications, what he needs is the candidate's true knowledge and knowledge of the field in which they are applying. This is the right mindset of employers in the new era, because it's clear that the ultimate goal should be towards work efficiency, not beautiful educational achievement.

But is the recruitment practice at Tesla exactly the way the CEO thinks? Technology website Thenextweb conducted a small survey of the criteria for all current vacancies of Tesla, listed on the company's website. Strangely, employers at Tesla don't seem to have the same opinion as Elon Musk.

The results are as follows: The majority of Tesla's 1,715 vacancies in North America have at least one degree-related requirements, from professional qualifications, Bachelor's, Master's, to Doctoral degrees, depending on by location. More specifically, there are 86 positions that mention professional qualifications, 25 positions that require a diploma, 726 positions that require a bachelor's degree, 606 requiring a Master's degree, and 53 titles that require a PhD. .

In Tesla's recruiting request, there are 383 positions that mention qualifications or 'equivalent experience' - which is true to Elon Musk's thinking, but this is just a lack of numbers, and almost excluding them. Mind is really important. In general, most vacancies at Tesla require a degree or certificate.

Notably, the type of jobs that require the most degrees and certificates are the ones that Musk regularly refers to and places on top: technology and IT.

So if you have the knowledge and experience, or try to turn it into a degree or equivalent certificate - certainly will not be redundant at all. And don't overly trust the CEOs!
