A vehicle with a destroyed tire in PUBG Mobile may still move, but it becomes slower, less stable, and harder to steer. The safest response is usually to reduce speed, avoid sharp turns, and drive only as far as needed to reach cover or another vehicle.
An old version of this tip claimed that switching between first- and third-person views could restore normal driving in the Chinese edition of the game. That behavior should not be treated as a reliable technique: camera controls and vehicle physics can change between versions, and changing the view does not repair a tire.
React immediately when a tire is destroyed
- Identify the direction of fire. Do not stop in the open to inspect the vehicle.
- Keep the vehicle steady. Ease off full acceleration if the car begins pulling to one side.
- Avoid sudden steering. A sharp turn can spin or roll a vehicle that has uneven grip.
- Move toward hard cover. A building, ridge, or solid wall is more useful than simply increasing the distance from the shooter.
- Prepare to dismount. Leave from the side that puts the vehicle or nearby cover between you and the enemy.
When should you keep driving?
Continue for a short distance when the route is relatively flat, the vehicle is still controllable, and stopping would expose the squad to direct fire. A damaged car can still be useful for crossing a small open area or reaching the edge of a compound.
Driving becomes a poor choice when the car cannot maintain direction, the route has steep slopes or tight turns, or enemy fire is rapidly damaging the vehicle itself. A vehicle can explode after taking enough damage, so do not use a badly damaged car as permanent cover.
How to control a vehicle with a blown tire
- Use small steering corrections instead of holding the direction control at full input.
- Stay on flatter ground where possible; bumps and slopes make an unbalanced vehicle harder to recover.
- Avoid boosting unless the short burst is necessary to leave immediate danger.
- Brake before a turn rather than trying to correct the vehicle in the middle of it.
- If several tires are missing, treat the vehicle as an emergency escape tool, not dependable transportation.
Exact handling varies by vehicle. Motorcycles, buggies, sedans, and larger vehicles react differently to damage, so judge the result by the vehicle’s speed and steering rather than assuming every car will remain usable.
Reduce the chance of being stranded
Park with the front of the vehicle pointing toward the next escape route. When approaching a compound, avoid leaving the car fully exposed on the road. A position behind a wall or on the far side of a ridge makes it harder for another player to shoot the tires before you return.
Squads should also mark replacement vehicles while rotating. If the current vehicle takes heavy damage, moving to a fresh one is normally safer than trying to force an unstable car across a long distance.
Do not rely on old exploits
Tips based on a particular regional build or an old camera bug can stop working after an update. If a trick claims to restore a destroyed tire without a repair feature, test it only in a low-risk training environment and do not base a ranked match strategy on it.
