Configuration, price of Galaxy Tab S6

Samsung has officially announced its latest and most advanced tablet, the Galaxy Tab S6. This device has a new design, more powerful configuration and added new features to cope with Apple's iPad Pro product.

Galaxy Tab S6 is equipped with large screen 10.5 inch Super AMOLED format with a resolution of 2560 x 1600, 16:10 ratio. The screen edge of the device is reduced to make it smaller and more luxurious.

The device is equipped with a fingerprint sensor at the bottom of the screen instead of a face detection system. Galaxy Tab S6 is only 5.7mm thick and weighs 420g.

Tab S6 is equipped with 4 speakers with 2 units on each side to create a stereo effect to give users the best entertainment experience. Powering the Tab S6 is the Snapdragon 855 processor, 128 / 256GB internal memory can be expanded up to 1TB, the optional 6 / 8GB RAM, and a large 7040mAh battery allow it to work for 15 hours.

Galaxy Tab S6 is the first tablet Samsung is equipped with dual camera system including a camera with normal viewing angle and a super wide-angle camera (123 degrees). In addition, the back of the device also has a groove with magnets to place the S-Pen to avoid misplacement. When users put pen into magnet slot, Galaxy Tab S6 will automatically charge it wirelessly.

This is also a new generation S-Pen, capable of controlling the device like pressing the capture button, switching slides in a PowerPoint application or whatever the user wants. The pen has a 0.35mAh battery capacity with up to 6 hours of use, but when using the same Air Gestures feature, it only lasts 30 minutes.

Removable keyboard accessories are equipped with a small trackpad that allows users to navigate with the mouse. This accessory and machine are connected by several pins along the body. It has a separate selling price of 179 USD.

Tab S6 will use Android 9 Pie, the new OneUI 1.5 interface and DeX software to help users have the same experience as laptops rather than tablets. Users can add external monitors via USB Type-C port.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 includes 2 Wifi versions: 6GB RAM / 128GB for 649USD and 8GB RAM / 256GB for 729USD. The 4G LTE version will be announced by the company early next year.
