Chinese-made CPUs run on their own UOS operating systems
A report from MyDrivers has confirmed that Zhaoxin, a Chinese-made processor, runs on its Unity Operating System (UOS). Previously, the Chinese government also required domestic organizations to use all domestic hardware and software instead of foreign products within 3 years. This shows that China wants autonomy instead of depending on US technologies.

Tongxin Software, the developer of the UOS operating system, has introduced its latest 16nm chips, KaiXian KX-6000 and KaiSheng KH-30000, operating on UOS for server and desktop versions. These chips have eight cores with a base clock of up to 3 GHz.

Tongxin Software is currently working with Zhaoxin to optimize and improve the performance of the application when used with Zhaoxin's CPU. Tongxin also wants to work with other Chinese chip makers to make their chips work on UOS.
